i am the administrator of cloudy dot freeforums dot net i used to moderate a lot of maplestory and pokemon forums when i was younger. in the former, i joined a maplestory music video making competition as an eight year old. in the latter, i pretended to be older and pretended to watch penn & teller because my favorite pokemon webmaster loved penn & teller (i only read plot summaries and watched youtube clips). i moderated anime style pokemon battling discussions. lately i have been interested in lists, sounds, memory, and questioning why i make things. right now, i think i make things to know myself & remember; there's a part inside of me that is always guilty when i'm not making something 'for others', even when a lot of the times making things for ourselves improves the world around us more sincerely than an attitude of saviorism (or whatever) does. here are other things i have been liking lately: systems, my field recorder (tascam dr40x), morgan fisher (check out water music), online wikias (including wikipedia), birding, the animal collective song 'loch raven', the color pink, concordances, peeling hype stickers, video mixers, truth & presentation, concerts in churches, books with ribbons, gooseneck kettles, cute effects pedals, directories, tape loops, moss you can find me here ifyouknewmewouldyoulove.me/www.are.na/chiatwitter.com/hotemogfwww.instagram.com/hotemogf/

hi chia! i am jd and this forum is very cool
i was on a couple of pokemon forums back in the day... raised by bulbagarden and pojo
i think it is very cool to make things for yourself. i was listening to 'anything' by adrianne lenker while walking around yesterday and it sounds like a song she made for herself. and i was thinking about that and thinking about how it didn't stop the song from being for me too, if i want it to be. art is cool like that

hello all. i would like to express my eternal hatred for you chia. following you on arena and twitter has sent me down multiple hyperlink rabbit holes, some of which still live among my browsers tab crust. also, just like lotus I was on a few pokemon forums as well. i actually found my old pokemon community profile today where i made some horrible forum singatures back in 2013ish. i loved browsing rom hacks more than playing them there and i remember being obsessed with the presentation of a romhack. if their thread didnt look nice i wouldnt even bother trying it. for your cringing pleasures: www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=321786

-the attachment size limit is 1mb so here's a link ( x) to the book, it was just a random thing that came across my TL and i have no idea if it's good or not! but i'm excited to read it (together with atlas of ai, which is another book about technologies of extraction and power)
EDIT 3/18 11:29AM: i started the climate change book and i've decided it's not very good lol but i will continue to read for now
